As per the New York City Building Code sections 403.4.4 and 907.2.13.2, installing an Auxiliary Radio Communication System (ARCS) became mandatory for all new-construction high-rise buildings greater than 75 feet after 2014.
The new rule established in 2014 also made reference to the need for daily inspections and annual certifications of your ARC System.

There are other times when the ARC System itself seems to need repairs.
